Carnation Revolution of April

A small homage to my country's history in hopes I share it with those willing
In a quick and organized efford by the armed forces to take action into their own hands and give power back to the Portuguese that had suffered under a dictatorship that stripped them of freedom and choice. Music, books and art were censored and people were inprisoned, tortured or exiled if not killed in order to keep them subdued.
In those desperate times, I take pride in my people, that didnt let go of their fundamental values to not spill blood during that coup.

Those days are over, but its message rings clear as other situations arrise in our world.
